FILMMAKING
Rebecca has done nearly every job on a film set, from writing, directing, producing, and acting to craft services, lighting, production managing, and production design. Shortly after film school in New York, Rebecca moved to Toronto where she immediately began working behind the scenes on a Canadian Film Centre feature. She returned to Winnipeg, and worked for Marble Island Pictures, working on every aspect of producing from development through production, post, and release. Rebecca then became one of Western Canada's top casting directors before returning to acting...all the while building her career as a filmmaker, which is her current area of focus. She has also been an acting and host coach for several series and films. Rebecca dedicates herself to projects with themes of social action, including the award-winning series Taken and Orange Daisy Project, for which Rebecca has also been at the centre of digital and app development and production.
